THE OWNER IS AN ADMITTED THIEF! His photograph can be seen in a newspaper’s report of his admission of his crimes against our city, state, and country at http://www.northwestgeorgianews.com/rome/news/local/rd-man-pleads-guilty-in-gambling-sting-akash-patel-of/article_f65432fe-8797-11e5-9a11-1b0e1f7ad7ef.html. A Floyd County Georgia Superior Court judge fined him tens of thousands of dollars for stealing from us United States citizens. Do not do let this invading evader and his ilk victimize you too at the Hi-Tech Fuel station at 1810 Redmond Circle in Rome, Georgia!

Revenge is a dish best served cold, especially when meted out by the Superior Court. According to the front page of the Rome News-Tribune November 10, 2015, Mr. Patel, the owner of this business, admitted he is a thief, and a Floyd County Georgia Superior Court judge fined him tens of thousands of dollars for stealing from us citizens of the United States. Please read the proof of his criminality at http://www.northwestgeorgianews.com/eedition_rnt/page-a/page_fdddaa42-87fb-52b0-8d90-6316bf05a054.html, and avoid this business entirely if you know what is good for you. FYI: Jay Patel also runs Star Cleaners on Turner-McCall Blvd. in Rome, Georgia. Beware!

Don't make an ass of yourself by doing business with this Stallion! This is my final comment about my experiences with this company. Yesterday I received via the United States Postal Service a letter from my credit-card company that reads, "Great News! The conditional credit we issued for your dispute with STALLION 112 ROME GA ... dated 03/15/2014 is now permanent." Evidently one who visits Stallion 112, also known as Hi-Tech Fuel and Rome Food Mart, located at 1810 Redmond Circle, Rome, Georgia, after reading this and my previous posts is backing the wrong horse. Don't be a fool by buying this fuel!

Beware these Indian takers! Please see my prior posts for context. Complying with Mr. Jay Patel’s instructions that I must return to his business, Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, between 10:00 and 5:00 and bring verification of his 20% overcharge in order to get my refund for gasoline I had bought from one of his pumps, I took time off today, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, and drove out of my way with a copy of my credit-card statement and the sales receipt from the pump I had used to buy gasoline March 15, 2014. At 3:53pm today I asked the Indian clerk whether he was Mr. Jay Patel. He said Mr. Jay Patel was not there. I showed him my documentation and explained the overcharge. He refused to return my stolen money and said I must return when Mr. Jay Patel would be there. I told the Indian this would be my last trip there, and I would report this matter to my credit-card company if he would not refund my money. I asked the Indian his name. He refused to identify himself and said I would have to complain to my credit-card company. Consequently I filed a dispute with my credit-card company against this business tonight. Due to this company’s theft, I have lost money and time. Disputing this company’s overcharge has cost me gasoline in order to return to this business, my vehicle’s depreciation to drive there, lost time from work, a long-distance, toll call to send a fax to my credit-card company, electricity and bandwidth consumed by the electronic devices I used, and utilities to heat the room I occupied while disputing this company’s overcharge to my credit card. I do not know if this is the same Jay Patel who owns Star Cleaners on Shorter Avenue in Rome, Georgia, but in order not to be taken to the cleaners by another Patel, I will stop doing business there as well. Caveat emptor!

I advise “Updated by Lance, October 22, 2013 12:20 CDT” and anyone else who has ever bought anything from Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165 to check their receipts. Having only once visited Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, September 20, 2013, and posted my experience on http://pure-gas.org/station?station_id=6435 September 21, 2013, I gave this dump a second chance. On March 15, 2014, I bought allegedly 100% gasoline from Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, with my credit card. After receiving my card’s statement, I noticed I had been overcharged more than 20% for my purchase at Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165. Upon discovering this theft, I called 706-291-2882 and spoke with Mr. Jay Patel, who answered the telephone. I explained the theft to Mr. Jay Patel. He told me I must return to Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, with my receipt and card statement between 10:00am and 5:00pm for verification. I do not know if I will ever get back the money that Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, stole from me. The bottom line is that I will have made at fewest three trips to Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, in order to make a single purchase of gasoline. Considering the time- and money-wasting problems I have had during and after two visits I have made to Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, I wonder whether replacement of carburetors would be less expensive than buying gasoline there. I also wonder whether this gasoline is truly 100% gasoline as advertised. Consequently I shall make at least a forth visit in order to try to make a second purchase of 100% gasoline from Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165, and test its gasoline’s alleged purity by one of the simple tests shown on YouTube. It is out of my way to drive to 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165. Imagine one’s lost time and money having to deal with this company if one had made a purchase with a debit card, which has no chargeback, or lived in a different state. If that’s the boat you’re in, Fellows Similarly Situated, please post on this Web site for your class-action lawsuit, and Ambulance Chasers, fill ‘er up, but don’t it at Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle NW, Rome, Georgia 30165. Caveat emptor!

The station phone number has been recently updated and had no problems as previously determine by a recent customer. May be he was having a bad day. I filled up my boat and two atvs, no problem at all. The customer service was great as the employee working at the register greeted kindly and even offered me help with filling up my boat.

Please do not waste your time at this Hi-Tech Fuel, a.k.a. Rome Food Mart, a.k.a. Stallion Mini Mart # 112, located at 1810 Redmond Circle, Rome, Georgia. I tried for fifteen minutes September 20, 2013, to purchase 100% gasoline, but none of the 100%-gasoline pumps worked after I had swiped my credit card several times outside and after I had prepaid the clerk. Some of the nozzles had black bags around them, including the one the clerk directed me to use after she had charged my credit card. She had a refund waiting for me when I went into the store the third time and said she would call "him," whoever that is, to report the out-of-order pumps. I left my business card with her and asked her to call me after the pumps were repaired. It has been thirty-four hours since then, and I have not been contacted by anyone at this business. Other problems include no towels in the fueling area and trash floating in a squeegee reservoir. My experience with Hi-Tech has never been favorable, e.g., about a month ago at the Hi-Tech Fuel on the corner of North Broad Street and North Avenue in Rome, Georgia, I asked the clerk, who appeared to have been an inhabitant of the subcontinent of India or of the East Indies, “Do you sell non-ethanol gasoline?” He looked at me vacuously, did not answer, and made no attempt to understand my made-up word “non-ethanol.” I am now searching the Web for a different seller, preferably not another Hi-Tech Fuel. Also, do not waste your time looking for 100% gasoline at the Hi-Tech Fuel located at the intersection of Martha Berry Highway and John Davenport Drive in Rome, Georgia, because all the pumps there were labeled “10% ethanol” on September 20, 2013.

Station charges 33 cents per gallon more than regular Ethanol gas. Other Hi-Tech stations in surrounding areas are selling pure gas at fair prices.
